Phenotypic variability of Monogenea using morphometric and geomorphometric techniques: effect of host and environmental factors
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se věnuje plasticitě fenotypu taxonu Monogenea. Zaměřuje se na vliv velikosti hostitele a dále na teplotu prostředí. Tato práce aplikuje metodu tradiční morfometrie a geometricko-morfometrickou analýzu, která umožňuje sledování změn jak velikosti, tak i tvaru sklerotizovaných struktur.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on phenotype plasticity of Monogenea. The thesis is focused on the influence of host`s size and the temperature of the water. It applies traditional morphometry and geometric morphometry which can provide information about the variability of size, but also the information about shape.
