SET OF INDOOR CERAMICS

Abstract:

Má práce je dvou fázová. První fáze byla vytvořit set intimních hrnečků inspirovaný mými vzpomínkami na dětství. Při tvorbě tohoto setu jsem získala zkušenosti s litofaniemi a vytvořila tvary, ze kterých jsem posléze vycházela při navrhování hrnků pro běžnou průmyslovou produkci. Nejvíce si na své práci cením, že se mi podařilo převést koncept do reálného prostředí a možnost vytvořit design, inspirovaný mými osobními zážitky a zkušenostmi z dětství.

Abstract:

I have created two sets of cups. The inspiration was my childhood. First set is very intimate and it is dedicated to me at first. So the useful and commercial value was not so important while i was creating these cups. It is seven cups with different shapes and dimension. When I was creating the shape from a plaster, I was playing a game. From a variety of shapes created by this method, I have chosen seven that comes together harmoniously. At the bottom of the cups is litofanie. It is a picture from porcelain visible against the sun. I was inspired by my favourite characters and animals from childhood, such as Donald, Goof, Pikachu, teddy bear or giraffe. The second set of cups is designed for using in porcelain manufactories. It was inspired a lot by the shapes from the intimate set. The difference is that this set is much bigger; both two cups have a capacity of 220 ml.
