The topic of fear of beying alone in selected novels for children and youth by Peter Härtling

Abstract:

The thesis analyses German writer Peter Hartling?s work "Krücke". The main aim of the work is to highlight the fear of being alone - one of the human emotions which accompanies the life of the main characters of the novel, but also the author himself. The work has got two parts. The first one is theoretical and it is devoted to the description of the writer and his life at the time of the bleak post-war conditions when the novel "Krücke" was written. This section outlines the main ideas of the work, which will be further analysed in the practical part. Practical part presents a work analysis. It is demonstrated on the specific examples that the characters live in constant fear of being alone.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou díla ?Krücke? německého spisovatele Petra Härtlinga. Jeho záměrem je poukázat na strach ze samoty ? jednu z lidských emocí, která doprovází život hlavních postav románu, ale i samotného autora. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Teoretická část je věnovaná osobě spisovatele a jeho životu v čase nehostinných poválečných podmínek, kdy vznikl ?Krücke?. Tato část načrtává hlavně myšlenky díla, které budou v praktické části dále analyzované. Praktickou část představuje analýza díla, která na konkrétních příkladech dokazuje, že postavy žijí neustále ve strachu ze samoty.
