Interest Groups and Their Influence on Democracy

Abstract:

Tato práce vznikla v reakci na vliv zájmových skupin na demokratickou společnost. Jejich působení pokřivuje demokratický a tržní systém, způsobuje neefektivitu, plodí etnocentrické spory a mnohdy válku. To posiluje obecnou nedůvěru ve svobodný tržní mechanismus a jeho samoregulační vlastnosti, a to nejen mezi vědeckými obcemi. Bohužel vliv zájmových skupin je těžko pozorovatelný, jelikož probíhá v pozadí tržního systému a v pomyslných „kuloárech“ aparátu vládnoucí autority. Zájmové skupiny představují problém pro každou demokratickou společnost, a to nejen globalizovanou. Zkoumáním a analyzováním jejich vlivu na demokraticko-tržní systém, zohledněním problematiky etnocentrismu a udržováním míru ve společenském řádu a zohledněním problematiky vedení vládnoucího aparátu, včetně ústavního práva, navrhuje práce instrumenty vedení vládnoucího aparátu demokratické společnosti s minimální možností vlivu zájmových skupin. Práce představuje komplexní a ucelený návrh řádu demokratické společnosti včetně ústavy. Hlavními vlastnostmi tohoto nového společenského řádu jsou dlouhodobá udržitelnost, garance míru, maximalizace svobody jednotlivce a maximalizace vytvořeného produktu.

Abstract:

The thesis responds to an influence of interest groups on democratic society. Their connections harm market and democratic system, cause inefficiency, ethnocentric conflicts and often even wars. That enhances general distrust of the free market mechanism and its self-sustaining characters, exceeding the scientific environment. Unfortunately, the impact of the interest groups is hardly observable, due to its hidden presence in the background of the market system and in the “lobbies” of the governmental body. Interest groups represent an issue for every single democratic society, including the non-globalized ones. The thesis proposes instruments of ruling institutions with a minimal interest groups’ influence. Such as examining and analysing the effects of interest groups on the democratic-market system, with regards to an ethnocentric topic and sustainability of peace within the community. Last, but not least, considers the problematics of the governmental body of democratic society, along with the constitutional law. The thesis introduces a complex and substantial construction of democratic society along with the constitution. Main characteristics of this new society order are a long-term sustainability, peace guarantee, development of an individual liberty and maximalization of production output.
