This thesis deals with the issue of anti-Americanism in Graham Greene’s novels. The study focuses on Greene’s political development in the 1950s, the 1960s and 1970s. Important features of Greene’s output are the ideas of involvement and disloyalty. Greene got to know American interventionist policy in the third world countries, such as Asia or Latin America.
