Influence of the difference in tire wear on the distance traveled in the vehicle recording equipment

Abstract:

Tato závěrečná práce se věnuje teorii tachografů, kdy následně hlavním cílem je porovnat výsledky měření ujeté vzdálenosti v záznamovém zařízení – tachografu silničního vozidla s opotřebovanými pneumatikami, s výsledky ujeté vzdálenosti v záznamovém zařízení téhož vozidla s pneumatikami novými. Měření byla prováděna pro objektivnost dvěma metrologicky ověřenými přístroji, konkrétně měřidly VDO CTC II a VDO BlueMeter. Samotná měření se uskutečnila na metrologicky ověřené zkušební dráze o délce 40 metrů. Jako objekt měření neboli vozidlo, byl zvolen automobil značky Ford Transit kategorie M2, tedy legislativou povinně vybavený tachografem, konkrétně typem VDO DTCO 1381. Měření probíhala za ideálních okolních podmínek vždy shodnými postupy a následná opakovanost výsledků potvrzuje jejich relevantnost. U prvního měření s opotřebovanými pneumatikami bylo naměřeno 4600 impulzů na přepočtený jeden kilometr dráhy (koeficient vozidla). Při druhém měření s pneumatikami novými bylo na vzdálenost jednoho kilometru změřeno 4525 impulzů. Možné dopady rozdílů popsaných výsledků mají využití především v praxi. V teoretické části práce je základním způsobem uvedeno i do problematiky pneumatik, jakožto důležitého prvku měření. Téma této práce je také vhodné k dalšímu výzkumu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the theory of tachographs, where the main goal is to compare the results of distance measurement in the recording equipment - tachograph of a road vehicle with worn tires, with the results of distance traveled in the recording equipment of the same vehicle with new tires. The measurements were performed for objectivity by two metrologically verified devices, namely VDO CTC II and VDO BlueMeter. The measurements themselves were carried out on a metrologically verified test track with a length of 40 meters. The Ford Transit category M2 car was chosen as the measuring object or vehicle i.e., a tachograph equipped with legislation, specifically the VDO DTCO 1381 type. The measurements took place under ideal ambient conditions and always by identical procedures, and the subsequent repetition of the results confirms their relevance. In the first measurement with worn tires, 4600 pulses per one kilometer of track were measured (vehicle coefficient). In the second measurement with new tires, 4525 pulses were measured at a distance of one kilometer. The possible effects of the differences in the described results are used mainly in practice. In the theoretical part of the thesis is introduced in a basic way to the issue of tires, as an important element of measurement. The topic of this thesis is also suitable for further research.
