Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Prokrastinace žáků středních škol“ se zabývá problémy spoje-nými s akademickou prokrastinací. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části je charakterizován pojem prokrastinace, historie prokrastinace, její příčiny, formy prokrastinace a možnosti jejího zvládání. Teoretická část je pre-zentací rešerše tuzemských a zahraničních odborných zdrojů daného tématu.V empirické části jsou uvedeny výsledky šetření, zaměřeného na prokrastinační chování žáků středních škol. Kvantitativní i kvalitativní šetření bylo provedeno na dvou středních odborných školách. Výzkumná data poskytla informace o četnosti výskytu prokrastinace, její intenzity a motivaci k tomuto nežádoucímu chování.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis „Secondary School Student Procrastination“ focuses on issues connected with academic procrastination. It is divided into theoretical and empi-rical part. The theoretical one characterizes the concept of procrastination, its his-tory, causality, forms and the possibilities of coping with this issue. The theoretical part presents latest research of domestic and foreign expert sources related to this topic.The empirical part contains the results of a pilot study focused on procrastinatio-nal behaviour of secondary schools students. The quantitative and qualitative sur-vey was carried out at two secondary vocational schools. The research data provi-ded information on frequency of occurence of procrastination, its intensity, and motivation for this undesirable behaviour.
