The aim of this thesis was to sum up current possibilities of ensuring scalability of today’s information and content management systems with focus on optimization of relational database queries, then to analyze presently used techniques of filling such databases with large amounts of data, and finally to design and implement an application facilitating this activity based on gathered knowledge.
