Occupational therapy of Dupuytren´s disease

Abstract:

Ve své práci jsem si stanovila dva cíle. Prvním je seznámení se s problematikou Dupuytrenovy nemoci a druhým cílem je zjištění významu ergoterapie u tohoto onemocnění. K tomuto je nutné znát anatomii horní končetiny, hlavně ruky, pohyby v kloubech, úchopové formy a hlavně klinický obraz a epidemiologii onemocnění. Toto bude zahrnuto v teoretické části práce. V další části bude popsána rehabilitace v pooperační době a ve třetí, praktické části, budou uvedeny dvě kazuistiky pacientů.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis has two objectives. The first objective is to get acquainted with the Dupuytren´s disease and related issues. The second objective is to assess the effectiveness of an occupational therapy in patients with this disease. The most important factors are to understand the anatomy of the upper limb, hand in particular, movements in joints and manners of grasp, clinical aspects, as well as epidemiology. All of these topics are discussed in the first theoretical part. The procedures and methods of occupational therapy are mentioned in the second part. The last practical part of this thesis is dedicated to a casuistry of two post-surgery patients.
