Comparison of the social competences of youth in institutional and family education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce ,,Komparace sociálních kompetencí u mladistvých v ústavní a rodinné výchově" se zabývá sociálními kompetencemi u mladistvých ve věku 16-18 let, kteří jsou v rámci nařízené ústavní výchovy umístěni v dětském domově a u mladistvých žijících v rodinném prostředí. Cílem práce je porovnat sociální kompetence u vybraných skupin respondentů. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se věnuje tématu sociálních kompetencí, vývojové oblasti adolescence, ústavní výchově a jejímu vlivu na jedince. Praktická část je tvořena výsledky standardizovaného dotazníkového šetření pomocí testu Inventáře sociálních kompetencí (Hoskovcová; Vašek, 2017). Cílem výzkumného šetření je zjistit, nalézt a porovnat odlišnosti v sebehodnocení úrovně dosažených sociálních kompetencí u vybraných skupin. Výzkumný vzorek tvoří 84 respondentů, kteří jsou umístěni v rámci ústavní výchovy v dětském domově a mladiství žijící v rodinném prostředí. Pro statistické vyhodnocení dat získaných dotazníkovým šetřením je využito t- testu pro komparaci aritmetických průměrů dvou nezávislých výběrů dat. Z výsledků vyplývá, že nebyly zjištěny zásadní rozdíly u vybraných skupin respondentů v oblasti sociálních kompetencí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis ,,The Comparison of Social Competences Among Adolescents in Institutional and Family Education" deals with the social competences of adolescents aged 16-18, who are placed in a children's home as part of institutional care and of adolescents living in a family environment. The aim of this work is to compare social competences in selected groups of respondents. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the topic of social competences, developmental area of adolescence, institutional education and its influence on individual. The practical part consists of the results of a standardized questionnaire survey using the book of Social competence inventory (Hoskovcová; Vašek, 2017). The aim of the research is to find out, find and compare differences in the self-assessment of the level of social competences achieved in selected groups. The research sample consists of 84 respondents who are placed in institutional care in a children's home and adolescents living in a family environment. The t-test is used to compare the arithmetic means of two independent data selections for the statistical evaluation of the data obtained by the questionnaire survey. The results show that there were not found any fundamental differences in selected groups of respondents in the area of social competences.
