The bachelor thesis deals with history and development of forensic ballistics while also introducing basic concepts of ballistics. It focuses on describing firearms and ammunition. Furthemore it analyzes the securing and examination of ballistic evidence which leads to individual identification of firearms or ammunition, which is crucial for solving criminal offenses.
