Geometric morphometrics is approach to quantifying and analyzing shape variation and covariation of shape with other factors. Geometric morphometrics methods are used here to quantify shape variation between monitor lizard species. 26 species (56 specimens) were used in this study. Metody geometrické morfometrie slouží ke kvantifikaci, vizualizaci, analýze tvarových zmen a faktoru zpusobujících tyto zmeny. V bakalárské práci jsou tyto metody využívány ke zjištení tvarových rozdílu mezi skupinami varanu.
