Germanization dictionaries in the 19th century and the linguistic purism
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is focused on linguistic purism and the 19th century Germanisation-based dictionaries. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the German puristic dictionary compiled by Johann Gottfried Sommer and published in the second half of the 19th century in Prague. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá jazykovým purismem a poněmčovacími slovníky v 19. století. Cílem práce je analýza německého puristického slovníku Johanna Gottfrieda Sommera, který byl vydán v první polovině devatenáctého století v Praze. Jsou zde stanovena Sommerova pravidla pro poněmčování přejímek a ve dvou vybraných částech slovníku jsou analyzována lemmata, která jsou později srovnávána s lemmaty …more
