The influence of the laser technologies on the surface wettability

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá uplatněním laseru v oboru povrchového inženýrství. Jejím hlavním cílem je vyrobení povrchových struktur, které by ovlivnily vlastnosti původního materiálu. Jedná se především o smáčivost povrchu, konkrétněji o zvýšení hydrofobních vlastností. Výroba těchto typů povrchových struktur byla realizována pomocí laserového mikroobráběcího stroje, jež disponuje ultrakrátkou délkou pulzu s velmi přesným rozmítáním laserového paprsku. V závěru této práce jsou vyhodnoceny vyrobené povrchové struktury a stanoveny parametry, které ovlivňují vznik i účelovost těchto povrchových struktur.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of laser in the field of surface engineering. Its main objective it to produce surface structures that would affect the properties of the original material. It is mainly the wettability of the surface, more particularly the increase in hydrophobic properties. The production of these types of surface structures was realized by using laser machine with ultrashort pulses. At the end of this work, the surface structures are evaluated and the parameters influencing the origin and purpose of these surface structures are set.
