Legal Aspects of Software Reverse Engineering
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá problematikou zpětné analýzy počítačových programů. Jejím cílem je ukázat různé možnosti zpětné analýzy a zhodnotit legálnost takového konání dle platné právní úpravy. Také je posuzována právní závaznost smluv vylučujících zpětnou analýzu. Dosud nevyřešené spory budou základem pro úvahy nad možným budoucím vývojem této oblasti práva.
Abstract:
This work deals with reverse engineering of computer programs. Its aim is to show the different possibilities of reverse engineering and review the legality of such acting in accordance with valid legislation. Also, it is considered legality of contracts prohibiting reverse engineering. Pending litigation will be the basis for consideration of possible future amendments to this law.
