Female circumscision

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ženské obřízky. Práce je teoreticko ? výzkumná a skládá se ze dvou částí. V teoretické části je definován pojem ženská obřízka a její rozdělení. Dále je popsána historie ženské obřízky, její souvislost s islámským náboženstvím, možné následky ženské obřízky a odlišnost v přístupu k obřezaným ženám při gynekologických vyšetřeních. Ve výzkumné části je zhodnocena znalost zdravotníků o ženské obřízce. Dotazník byl rozdán lékařům a sestrám na gynekologicko ? porodnických odděleních a na oddělení psychiatrie. Bylo zjišťováno, zda se setkaly s obřezanou ženou a jaký mají názor na tuto problematiku.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is exposition of a female circumcision. The thesis is separated on a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part concerns a definition of a female circumcision and it's parts. You can find there disquisition about a history of female circumcision, it's connections with islamic religion, possible consequences of female circumcision and dissimilarity of attitude to women with circumcision at gynaecological examine. The practical part concerns about evaluating a knowledge of medical staff about a female circumcision. The form was delivered to medics and nurses on gynaecological and birthing wards and psychiatry. The research was oriented to get information if they meet a woman with circumcision and their opinion to this problems.
