Media map of local press in the Pardubice Region and a case study of the structure of the editors and editorial work

Abstract:

Teoretická část práce se věnuje problematice názvů obecních periodik a jejich právnímu ukotvení. Dále se zabývá zařazením obecních periodik do systému periodického tisku, jejich významem, pohledem na obecní periodika jako na PR materiál, organizací mediálního subjektu a charakteristikou redakčních pozic. Výzkumným cílem práce je vytvořit mediální mapu obecních periodik na území Pardubického kraje. Prostřednictvím dotazníku bylo zjišťováno, kolik periodik v kraji vychází, jaký je jejich název, periodicita a zda jsou k dispozici v elektronické podobě. Dále bylo ověřováno, jestli data získaná výzkumem korespondují s daty v Evidenci periodického tisku a vydavatelů. Výzkumným cílem práce je také přinést informace o struktuře redakcí a redakční práci obecních periodik na území statutárního města Pardubice. Prostřednictvím hloubkových rozhovorů bylo například zjišťováno, jak spolu redakce zpravodajů spolupracují. Cílem výzkumu bylo také zjistit, jaký je názor členů redakce na používání názvu zpravodaj nebo jestli považují zpravodaje za žurnalistické produkty.

Abstract:

The theoretical part deals with the problem of terminology and legal adaptation of local press. It also mentions classification these periodicals in the system of press, their significance, look for local periodicals such as the PR material, organization of media agency and characteristic of editorial positions.The research goal of work is to create a media map of local press in the Pardubice Region. Through the questionnaire, it was investigated how many periodicals is in the region, thier name, periodicity and if their are available in electronic form. It was verified too, whether the data obtained from the research correspond to the Register of periodic press and publishers. Research goal of work is also to provide information about structure editors and editorial work of local journals in the area of the city of Pardubice. Through such depth interviews were then examined how they cooperate. The aim was also to find out what is the opinion of an editor to use the name of the newsletter or if they consider the newsletter journalistic products.
