Congregation of Tolerance in Moraveč until 1848

Abstract:

Práce obsahuje jak obecné části, které popisují situaci v Čechách od vydání Tolerančního patentu do prvních změn v roce 1848, tak především části praktické, které se zaměřuji konkrétně na vznik a první léta tolerančního sboru v Moravči. Podle pramenů se práce zaměřuje na početní základnu sboru a její proměny v čase, ale zabývá se i finanční situací sboru. Práce nastiňuje i společenské poměry především vztahy mezi katolíky a nekatolíky v daném místě.

Abstract:

This paper comprises firstly general parts describing the situation in Bohemia from the Patent of Tolerance issue to first changes in 1848, and secondly the practical part focusing specifically on the origin and first years of the Tolerance Congregation in Moraveč. According to the sources, the analysis aims at numerous base of the Congregation and its changes in the course of time but it also deals with financial situationof the Congregation. The paper also outlines social matters especially relationships among the Catholics and the Protestants in the analysed area.
