In my thesis I analyze the symbolic structure of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). The declaration is a documented enactment of the partnership between states and indigenous peoples to generate attention to the history, identity, and rights of indigenous peoples in international politics.
