The Effect of Annealing Parameters on the Mechanical Properties of CuZn30 Alloy

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vlivu změny teploty žíhání na slitinu CuZn30. Hlavním aspektem jsou mechanické vlastnosti, a to tvrdost podle Brinella, tvrdost podle Vickerse, napětí na mezi pevnosti a tažnost. Nadále zkoumání mikrostruktury (velikost zrna). Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, na teoretickou a praktickou část. Autor se v teoretické části nejprve věnuje slitinám mědi a zinku, jejich mechanickým vlastnostem a jejich tepelnému zpracování. Následně se autor věnuje obecnému popsaní mechanických vlastností a jejich zkoušení. V praktické části se autor věnuje nejprve přípravě vzorků a samotnému žíhání na různé teploty, přičemž doba výdrže na žíhací teplotě byla 2 hodiny. Následně jsou zkoumány mechanické vlastnosti žíhaných vzorků. V poslední řadě je vyhodnocení výsledných hodnota posouzení vlivu teploty žíhání na výsledné mechanické vlastnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the influence of the annealing temperature change on CuZn30 alloy. The main aspects are mechanical properties namely Brinell hardness, Vickers hardness, interfacial tension, and ductility. Further investigation of microstructure (grain size). The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the author first discusses copper-zinc alloys, their mechanical properties, and their heat treatment. Subsequently, the author deals with a general description of mechanical properties and their testing. In the practical part, the author first deals with the preparation of the samples and the annealing to different temperatures, the residence time at the annealing temperature being 2 hours. Subsequently, the mechanical properties of the annealed samples are investigated. Lastly, the resulting values are evaluated to assess the effect of annealing temperature on the resulting mechanical properties.
