Pathological Changes in Sperm Morphology

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce shrnuje patologické změny spermatické morfologie. V úvodní části práce je shrnuta fyziologická podoba mužské pohlavní soustavy, vývoj spermie během spermatogeneze a morfologie spermií. Následující část je zaměřena na morfologické změny spermie, analýzu ejakulátu, nejčastější patologické nálezy v ejakulátu, příčiny mužské neplodnosti (pretestikulární, testikulární, posttestikulární) a jejich hlavní zástupci hypogonadismus, Kallmanův syndrom, varikokéla, kryptorchismus a Kartagenerův syndrom. V závěrečné části je shrnuta mužská neplodnost po celém světě a vliv Covid-19 na mužskou plodnost.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis summarizes pathological changes in sperm morphology. The introductory part of the thesis summarizes the physiological form of the male reproductive system, the development of sperm during spermatogenesis and the morphology of sperm. The following part is focused on the morphological changes of the sperm, the ejaculate analysis, the most common pathological findings in the ejaculate, the causes of male infertility (pretesticular, testicular, posttesticular) and their main representatives: hypogonadism, Kallman syndrome, varicocele, cryptorchidism, and Kartagener syndrome. The final part contains a summary male infertility worldwide and the impact of Covid-19 on male fertility.
