Health literacy of women on the issue of breast cancer

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je orientována na problematiku a prevenci vzniku karcinomu prsu. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit zda ženy znají zásady prevence rakoviny prsu a zda mají dostatek informací o tomto onemocnění, které je nejčastější onkologické onemocnění žen v České republice. Teoretická část bakalářské práce obsahuje stručný popis anatomie prsu, příčiny, příznaky a vznik zhoubného nádoru prsu, výskyt tohoto onemocnění a také možnosti a zásady prevence, které jsou dány Vyhláškou č. 70/2012 Sb. - Vyhláška o preventivních prohlídkách, ale zahrnuje i nejjednodušší samovyšetřování prsů. Praktickou část tvoří průzkum provedený dotazníkovým šetřením ke zjištění rozsahu informovanosti jednotlivých žen o karcinomu prsu. Dotazníky budou sebrány elektronickou formou a doplněny budou o klasické tištěné, které budou rozdány v gynekologické ambulanci ženám přicházejícím na vyšetření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is oriented on the problem and prevention of breast cancer. The major aim of this bachelor thesis is to get know if women know principles of prevention of breast cancer and if they have enough informations about this disease, which is the most often cancer disease of women in Czech republic. The theoretic section contains brief describing the anatomy of breast, causes, symptoms and emergence of breast cancer, frequency of this disease and possibilities and principles of prevention, which are enacted by decree but it also contains the self-examination. The practical section contains a questionnaire survey. It will show awareness of women about breast cancer. Questionnaires will be collected electronically and will be complemented by the classic printed questionnaires, which will be distributed to women incoming to gynecological practice for examination.
