Education of Nurses in the Field of Elimination Methods at Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářská práce je edukace sester v oblasti eliminačních metod na anesteziolo-gicko - resuscitačním oddělení. V teoretické části popisujeme selhání ledvin, princip, využití a rozdělení eliminačních me-tod. Dále se zaměřujeme na cévní přístupy nezbytné k eliminačním metodám, přípravě jednotlivých eliminačních metod, využití antikoagulace, komplikace eliminačních metod a monitorace pacienta během eliminačních metod. Při eliminačních metodách je jednou z nejdůležitějších kapitol ošetřovatelská péče. Vzhledem k tomu, že na anesteziologicko - resuscitačním oddělení se často setkáváme s kontinuálními eliminačními metodami, které nejsou typické pro dialyzační střediska, je práce zaměřena na edukaci sester právě v této oblasti. Praktická část je zaměřena na edukaci sester v oblasti eliminačních metod. V první fázi jsme využily kvantitativní průzkumnou metodu - anonymní dotazník, vlastní konstrukce, zaměřený na problematiku eliminačních metod v intenzivní péči. V druhé fázi proběhl edukační proces sester, který se skládal z teoretické a praktické části. V třetí fázi jsme využily stejný dotazník, který jsme využily v první fázi, abychom ověřily úspěšnost edukace. Na základě zjištěných informací jsme navrhly doporučení pro praxi

Abstract:

The theme of this bachelor thesis is education of nurses in elimination methods at depart-ment of anesthesiology and resuscitation. The theroretical part describes kidney failure; principle, use and dividing of elimination methods. Furthemore, we focus on vascular accesses necessary to elimination methods, preparation of individual elimination methods, use of anticoagulation, complications at elimination methods and monitoring of patient during elimination methods. Nursing care is one of the most important asset associated with elimination methods. Due to the fact that anesthesiology-resuscitation department is often encountered with elimination methods that are not typical for dialysis centers, this thesis is focused on nurses education right in this area. The practical part is focused on education of nurses in elimination methods. In the first phase we used the quantitative survey method - a questionnaire that we put together, being focused on problematics of elimination methods in intensive care. In the second phase an education process took place, having both theoretical and practical part. In the third phase we used the same questionnaire as in the first phase, to verify if the education was benefi-cial. Based on information obtained we made proposals for praxis.
