Abstract:

Rodina a její fungování jsou považovány za prediktory úspěšného zvládání onemocnění, postižení nebo handicapu dítěte. Proto je velice důležitá včasná detekce míry zátěže a stresu u rodičů pečujících o děti s handicapem, eliminace faktorů, které zátěž a stres způsobují a vhodné intervence dětské sestry vedené k rodičům, komunikace a edukace rodičů v rámci kompetencí a širokého rámce působnosti ve vztahu sestra-rodič-dítě. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit míru zátěže a stresu u rodičů, kteří pečují o děti s handicapem. Dílčími cíli bylo zjistit, zda existuje rozdíl v míře zátěže a stresu u rodičů dětí s handicapem a u rodičů dětí bez handicapu. Zjistit, zda existuje rozdíl v kvalitě života u rodičů dětí s handicapem a rodičů dětí bez handicapu. Zjistit, zda existuje rozdíl ve funkčnosti rodiny u rodičů dětí s handicapem a rodičů dětí bez handicapu. Zjistit, zda existuje souvislost mezi mírou zátěže a stresu u rodičů a kvalitou života rodičů. Zjistit, zda existuje souvislost mezi mírou zátěže a stresu u rodičů a funkčností rodiny. Zjistit, zda existuje rozdíl v míře zátěže a stresu u rodičů dětí s handicapem s ohledem na vybrané faktory (respitní péče, provádění odborných výkonů u dítěte, pořízení psa jako domácího mazlíčka, sociální podpora, poruchy učení u dítěte, víra, projevy záchvatů u dítěte, apatie dítěte, projevy těžce zvladatelného vzteku dítěte). Posledním dílčím cílem bylo zjistit psychometrické vlastnosti škály Parenting Stress Index 4 Short Form v českém sociokulturním prostředí.

Abstract:

The family and its functioning are considered the predictors of successful coping with illnesses, disability or handicap of a child.Therefore, early detection of the level of burden and stress in parents caring for children with disability, elimination of factors that cause burden and stress, and appropriate interventions by the children's nurse towards parents, communication and education of parents within the framework of competences and a broad framework of competence in the nurse-parent-child relationship are very important.The main objective of the work was to determine the level of burden and stress in parents who care for children with a disability. The sub-objectives were: to determine whether there is a difference in the level of burden and stress in parents of children with a disability and parents of children without disability; to determine whether there is a difference in the quality of life of parents of children with disability and parents of children without disability; to determine whether there is a difference in functioning the family with parents of children with disability compared to parents of children without disability; to determine whether there is a relationship between the level of burden and stress in parents and the quality of life of parents; to identify if there is a relationship between the level of burden and stress in parents and the family functioning; to determine whether there is a difference in the level of burden and stress among parents of children with disabilities with regard to selected factors (respite care, carrying out professional healthcare procedures, acquiring a dog as a pet, social support, learning disabilities in a child, religion, manifestations of seizures in a child, apathy in a child, manifestations of child anger which is difficult to control). The last sub-objective was to determine the psychometric properties of the scale in the Parenting Stress Index 4 Short Form questionnaire in the Czech socio-cultural environment.
