Rušivé trendy v automobilovém průmyslu a jejich dopad na OEMs

Abstract:

Automobilový průmysl se nachází na pokraji masivní transformace poháněné několika rušivými trendy, které ovlivní fungování mnoha automobilek v tomto odvětví. Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl identifikovat tyto trendy, změřit jejich dopad na automobilový průmysl a zjistit, který z nich má na tento průmysl a výrobce největší dopad. Všechny závěry jsou založeny na rozsáhlém přehledu literatury, výsledcích z dotazníkového řešení distribuovaného mezi odborníky z nejmenované poradenské společnosti působící v oblasti automotivu a na hloubkových rozhovorech s těmito experty. Výsledky naznačily, že tři nejvíce rušivé trendy pro budoucnost automobilového průmyslu jsou: EV, autonomní vozidla a konektivita. Na závěr této práce byla vytvořena matice dopadu na průmysl, která zachycuje všechny důležité trendy a srovnává jejich dopad na automobilový průmysl v závislosti na jejich pravděpodobnost uskutečnění.

Abstract:

The automotive industry is on the verge of a massive transformation driven by several disruptive trends that will affect the functioning of original equipment manufacturer. This thesis aims to identify those trends, measure their impact on the automotive industry, and identify which one impacts the industry and original equipment manufactures the most. All the conclusions are based on an extensive literature review, results from the questionnaire distributed among automotive consulting experts, and in-depth interviews with the experts. The results indicate that the three most disruptive trends for the future of automotive are: electric vehicles autonomous driving, and connectivity. Further, the industry impact matrix was created to display all the important trends and compare their overall impact on the automotive industry to the degree of certainty.
