Cílem práce je porovnání anglických a českých vědeckých textů z pohledu „přístupnosti čtenářům“. Čtenářsky přístupný text je takový, který obsahuje větné vzory dodržující objektivní slovosled, to znamená uspořádání elementů ve větě od kontextově závislých po kontextově nezávislé. Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is a comparison of English and Czech scholarly texts from the viewpoint of "reader-friendliness". A reader-friendly text is a text containing sentence patterns observing the objective word order, i.e. an arrangement of elements from context dependent or acccessible units to context independent units.
