A typical visitor of student theaters, his profile and other involvement in cultural tourism in the capital city of Prague

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá typickým návštěvníkem studentských divadel a jeho vyprofilováním pro jednotlivé studentské divadelní scény. Dále se zabývá dalším zapojením těchto návštěvníků do kulturního turismu na území hlavního města Prahy. Práce se zaměřuje na tři studentská divadla, všechna z nich sídlí v Praze. Jedná se o Divadlo Na Rejdišti, Divadlo DISK a Pidivadlo. Cílem práce je identifikovat typického návštěvníka každého z těchto studentských divadel a porozumět jeho dalšímu zapojení se do kulturního turismu na území hlavního města Prahy. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením pojmu divadla, studentského divadla, historických výzkumů z oblasti divadla, turismu a kulturního turismu. Praktická část obsahuje metodu sekundární analýzy dat, která vyplývá z webových stránek studentských divadel. Vlastní výzkum byl v praktické části realizován využitím metody dotazníkového šetření s návštěvníky divadel v rámci jednotlivých představení a řízených rozhovorů s vedením těchto studentských divadel. Na základě zjištěných výsledků byl identifikován typický návštěvník a jeho motivace pro návštěvu některého z divadel. Následně byly zjištěny další motivy a aktivity, které návštěvě divadla předcházeli nebo naopak co po návštěvě divadla následovalo. Jaký vliv měla návštěva divadla na další nabídku nejen kulturního turismu v Praze.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with a typical visitor of student theaters and his profiling for individual student theater scenes. It also deals with the further involvement of these visitors in cultural tourism in the capital city of Prague. The work focuses on three student theaters, all of which are based in Prague. These are Na Rejdišti Theater, DISK Theater and Pidivadlo. The aim of the thesis is to identify a typical visitor of each of these student theaters and to understand his further involvement in cultural tourism in the capital city of Prague. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the concept of theater, student theater, historical research in the field of theater, tourism and cultural tourism. The practical part contains a method of secondary data analysis, which results from the websites of student theaters. The actual research was carried out in the practical part using the method of questionnaire survey with theater visitors in individual performances and guided interviews with the management of these student theaters. Based on the results, a typical visitor and his motivation to visit one of the theaters were identified. Subsequently, other motives and activities were identified that preceded the theater visit or, conversely, what followed after visiting the theater. What effect did going to the theater have on the other offer not only of cultural tourism in Prague.
