History and Present of Climbing Club Vítkovice
Abstract:
Práce pojednává o historickém vývoji ostravského horolezeckého oddílu Vítkovice, od doby jeho vniku v roce 1953, až po jeho dnešní činnost. Práce popisuje vývoj oddílu v kontextu se světovou i československou historií ogranizovaného horolezectví na pozadí společensko-politických změn druhé poloviny 20. století.
Abstract:
The thesis is focused on the history of the Climbing Club Vítkovice, from its foundation in 1953 until today. The thesis shows the present and the past of this Climbing Club including a brief history of rock climbing in Czechoslovakia. History of the Climbing Club takes place against the background of socio-political changes in the late 20th century.
