Study of the influence of the type of matrix and precursor on the structural properties of copper-doped mixed oxides

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na přípravu a charakterizaci směsných oxidů na bázi Mg - Al a Mg - Fe dopovaných mědí. Základní matrice byly připravené koprecipitačním srážením příslušných dusičnanů kovů, následnou kalcinací při 450 °C po dobu 4 hodin. Poté byly dopovány dvěma různými prekurzory (trihydrát dusičnanu měďnatého a monohydrát octanu měďnatého) tak, aby výsledné materiály obsahovaly 0,5; 5 a 10 hm% mědi. Účelem bylo zjistit vliv hmotnostního zastoupení mědi a použitého prekurzoru na strukturní, chemickéa fyzikální vlastnosti syntetizovaných materiálů. K charakterizaci byly zvoleny analytické techniky jako teplotně programovaná redukce, teplotně programovaná desorpce, rentgenová spektroskopie, infračervená spektroskopie, UV - VIS spektroskopie či indukčně vázané emisní spektroskopie. Výsledky této práce obohacují pohled na strukturu a vlastnosti Cu/Mg-Al a Cu/Mg-Fe směsných oxidů a jejich potenciál pro technologické aplikace.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the preparation and characterisation of mixed oxides based on Mg-Al and Mg-Fe doped with copper. The basic matrices were prepared by co-precipitating the respective metal nitrates and then calcining them at 450 °C for 4 hours. They were then doped with two different precursors (copper nitrate trihydrate and copper acetate monohydrate) to obtain final materials containing 0.5, 5 and 10 wt% copper. The aim was to determine the influence of the copper content and the type of precursor on the structural, chemical and physical properties of the synthesised materials. The characterisation techniques chosen included temperature programmed reduction, temperature programmed desorption, X-ray spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, UV-VIS spectroscopy and inductively coupled plasma emission spectroscopy. The results of this work provide insight into the structure and properties of Cu/Mg-Al and Cu/Mg-Fe mixed oxides and their potential for technological applications.
