Perspective of Alternative Fuels in the Company Fleet of Light Commercial Vehicles

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá perspektivou alternativních pohonů ve firemní flotile lehkých užitkových vozidel společností LKQ CZ s.r.o. a Cvrčovická pekárna s.r.o. Hlavním cílem je vyhodnocení perspektivy alternativních pohonů ve flotile lehkých užitkových vozidel daných společností pomocí metody vícekriteriálního rozhodování TOPSIS. Dílčím cílem je identifikovat faktory spojené s implementací jednotlivých pohonů do uvažovaných flotil pomocí analýzy SWOT. Vyhodnocení probíhá na základě srovnání elektrického, CNG a dieselového pohonu, které jsou hodnoceny podle následujících kritérií: finanční náklady spojené s fyzickou životností vozidla ve flotile, dojezd, dostupnost veřejné infrastruktury a emise CO2. Z výsledků vyplývá, že na základě současných podmínek pro dané společnosti není náhrada dieselových vozidel za vozidla s alternativním pohonem v blízké době perspektivní, a to především kvůli vysokým finančním nákladům a nízkému dojezdu porovnávaných modelů.

Abstract:

This master's thesis deals with the perspective of alternative fuels in the company fleet of light commercial vehicles of LKQ CZ s.r.o. and Cvrčovická pekárna s.r.o. The main goal is to evaluate the perspective of alternative fuels in the fleet of light commercial vehicles of these companies using the TOPSIS multi-criteria decision-making method. A secondary goal is to identify factors associated with the implementation of individual fuels into the considered fleets using SWOT analysis. The evaluation is based on a comparison of electric, CNG, and diesel fuels, which are evaluated according to the following criteria: financial costs associated with the physical lifespan of the vehicle in the fleet, range, availability of public infrastructure, and CO2 emissions. The results suggest that, based on current conditions for these companies, the replacement of diesel vehicles with vehicles using alternative fuels is not prospective in the near future, mainly due to high financial costs and low range of the compared models.
