Epidemiological situation incidence of mumps in region Klatovy

Abstract:

Při své praxi na Krajské hygienické stanici Plzeňského kraje v roce 2011 jsem měla možnost být součástí týmu, který prováděl epidemiologická šetření při epidemii příušnic po 22 letém cyklu výskytu jednotlivých případů onemocnění. Proto jsem si téma příušnic zvolila za téma své bakalářské práce. Seznámila jsem se způsobem hlášení infekčních onemocnění ošetřujícími lékaři, měla jsem možnost pomocí účastnit se sběru dat pomocí standardizovaných dotazníků ? listů epidemiologických šetření. Participovala jsem na vkládání dat do hlásicího systému EPIDAT. Měla jsem možnost podílet se na vyhodnocení získaných údajů a odpovědět si tak na otázky, které jsem si položila formou hypotéz. Soubor tvořilo 443 hlášených případů onemocnění, 248 případů u mužů (54%), 195 případů u žen (45%) s maximem výskytu v 16.- 20. kalendářním týdnu roku 2011. Průměrný věk nemocných byl 18,93 let. Epidemie odezněla bez očkovací intervence v letních měsících roku 2011.

Abstract:

During my practices in a Regional Hygiene Station of Pilsen Region in 2011, I had the opportunity to be part of the team that carried out an epidemiological investigation of the epidemic of mumps after 22-year cycle of individual cases of disease. That's why I chose the topic of mumps topic for my thesis. I knew the way reporting of infectious disease by physicians, I had the opportunity to participate with data collection using standardized questionnaires - Sheets of epidemiological investigation. I participated in inserting data into EPIDAT system. I had the opportunity to participate in the evaluation of the data and so answer the questions that I have asked in the form of hypotheses. Group consisted of 443 reported cases of the disease, 248 cases of men (54%), 195 cases of women (45%) with a peak incidence at 16 to 20 calendar week of 2011. The average age of patients was 18.93 years. Epidemics resolved without vaccination interventions in the summer of 2011.
