Islamic State: A Case Study of Religious Fundamentalism
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá ideologií Islámského státu (IS) v kontextu moderního náboženského fundamentalismu. Cílem této práce je testovat hypotézu, že IS je typickým příkladem zmíněného socio-náboženského fenoménu. Jako výzkumný vzorek slouží propagandistické časopisy Dábiq a Rúmíja.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the ideology of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant(ISIL/ISIS) in the context of modern religious fundamentalism. The goal of the thesis is to test the hypothesis, that ISIL is a typical example of the mentioned socio-religious phenomenon. The propaganda magazines Dabiq and Rumiyah serve as research samples.
