Climate situations and extreme meteorological phenomena

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analýza vztahu mezi výskytem extrémních hodnot vybraných meteorologických jevů v české části povodí Opavy (dále jen povodí Opavy) v letech 1987 až 2006 a výskytem synoptických situací nad územím České republiky ve sledovaném období. Výsledkem zpracování je vedle analýz popisujících vztah a případnou závislost mezi výše uvedenými elementy také uvedení možného praktického využití získaných závěrů. Pro utvoření širších souvislostí o dané problematice autor práce před vlastní analýzu dat vkládá kapitolu představující historii pozorování a klasifikace počasí v České republice s úplným výčtem a podrobnou charakteristikou vybraných typizovaných synoptických situací a oddíl věnující se klimatické charakteristice povodí Opavy.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of the relation between the appearance of the extreme values of the chosen meteorological phenomina in the czech part of the Opava´s drainage area (further just Opava´s drainage area) in the years 1987 - 2006 and between the appearance of synoptic situations above the area of the Czech republic in the given time period. The consequence of the data processing are the analysis describing the relationship and the dependence between the given elements and the introduction of the possible practical utilization of the gained outgrowths. For incorporation of broader connections in the set dilemma the author enclose the elaborate chapter illumining the story of obsevation and standartisation of the weather conditions in the Czech republic before the actual analysis with the entire enumeration and detailed characteristic of the chosen standardized synoptic situations and the chapter dedicated to the climatic characteristic of the Opava´s drainage area.
