From Volhynia to the Znojmo Region - Return of the Volhynian Czechs to their Homeland
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá vzpomínkami volyňských Čechů, žijících v okrese Znojmo,z období jejich příchodu zpět do staré vlasti. Podstatné jsou pocity z příchodu a usídlování, následné společné soužití s místními obyvateli a identita respondentů. Hlavním tématem je otázka kolektivní paměti a identity volyňských Čechů.
Abstract:
This thesis is concerned with memories of the Volhynian Czechs living in the Znojmo district of their on arrival back home. Significant are the feelings on the coming and settling, subsequent cohabitation with local residents and the identity of respondents. The main issue is the collective memory of the Volhynian Czechs and their identity.
