Optics in the World of Animals

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem zraku. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Úvod teoretické části je věnován lidskému oku, jeho stavbě a funkci. V další části je představeno oko živočichů, jsou zde blíže popsány komorové a fasetové oko. Závěr je rozdělen do dvou částí, nejprve je provedena analýza výukových materiálů využívaných při výuce na základních a středních školách, kde je zkoumáno, v jakém rozsahu se témata týkající se zraku v učebnicích vyskytují. Druhá část je poté věnována dotazníkovému šetření, kterému byli podrobeni studenti s cílem zjistit, jak široké jsou jejich znalosti v oblasti oka a zraku.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is aimed at the topic of eyesight. It is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The introduction to the theoretical part concerns the human eye, its structure and its function. In the next part, the animal eye is introduced, and the chambered eye as well as the faset eye are described in more detail there. The closing is divided into two parts. In the first one, analysis of educational material used in lessons in both primary and secondary schools, which studies the extent of occurance of the topics related to eyesight in the textbooks, is performed. The second one is devoted to the research via questionnaires in which students were interrogated in order to find out how extensive their knowledge in the field of the eye and eyesight is.
