Pension reforms - the need or policy?

Abstract:

Důchodová reforma patří v současnosti mezi jedno z velmi diskutovaných ekonomických témat ve většině zemí světa. V práci vycházím z demografické prognozy vývoje české populace. V první části se věnuji historickému vývoji sociální politiky a nastiňuji důchodové systémy u nás i ve světě. Tato část práce je zpracovaná pomocí metod deskripce a syntézy poznatků získaných z různých literárních zdrojů i internetových zdrojů. Ve druhé části popisuji současný důchodový systém České republiky, rozebírám možnosti jeho řešení. Pomocí dotazníkového průzkumu budu zjišťovat povědomost občanů o penzijním systému a jejich nahlížení na svou budoucnost. Pro ucelení obrazu jsem oslovila i odborníky z různých sfér, kteří mi umožnili podívat se na problematiku z různých úhlů. Cílem této práce je zmapování povědomosti obyvatel o penzijní reformě a s tím související jejich zajištěním na stáří. Dalším cílem této práce je analýza současného českého penzijního systému a nastínění mého návrhu životaschopného důchodového systému v ČR.

Abstract:

At present the pension reform belongs to the most important and much discussed economic topics in many countries of the world. My work follows from the demographic prognosis of the Czech population‘s development. The first part is focused on the historic development of social policy and different pension systems both in our country and in the world. I have compiled this part by method of description and synthesis of knowledge which I got from the literary and the Internet sources. In the second part the contemporary pension system of the Czech Republic is described. Possibilities of its solution are analyzed. Using my own questionnaire survey I will study the public assessment of the pension system and the general public view on future. To get the big picture I have approached some specialists from different fields. They gave me access to this issue from different points of view. The aim of this diploma is to map some public knowledge about the pension reform and financial security in people‘s old age. Another aim of my diploma is analysis of the contemporary pension system and my proposal of the working model of the pension reform in the Czech Republic.
