Logistic and production process in a choosen company

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je provést analýzu životního cyklu objednávky ve společnosti Saint-Gobain Construction Products CZ a.s. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní definice z oblasti logistiky, výroby a operačního průzkumu. Praktická část vychází zejména z metod operačního výzkumu. V této části je představena popisovaná společnost, následně je provedena analýza životního cyklu objednávky a nalezení slabých bodů tohoto cyklu. Slabým místem cyklu objednávky je expedice zboží k zákazníkovi. Návrhy řešení problematiky rozvozu stavebních materiálu zákazníkům vyplývají z použitých metod operačního výzkumu pro řešení dopravního problému. Na závěr práce je provedeno ekonomické vyhodnocení návrhů optimalizačních opatření.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the life cycle of the ordering process in Saint-Gobain Construction Products CZ a.s. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the basic definitions of logistics, production and operational research. The practical part is primarly based on methods of operational research. This part introduces the described company, analyzes the life cycle of the ordering process and identifies the weak points of this cycle. The weak point of this process the expedition of goods to the customer. The proposals for solving the problem of delivering the building materials to customers stem from the methods of operational research used to solve the transport problem. At the end of the diploma thesis, the economic evaluation of proposals for optimalization measures is carried out.
