Abstract:

V diplomové práci se zabývám tématem adopce na dálku. Tato práce je rozdělena do dvou částí – teoretické a empirické. Projekt Adopce na dálku umožňuje lidem sponzorovat děti z rozvojových zemí. V teoretické části proto prvotně představuji problematiku rozvojových zemí, kde se zaměřuji především na životní a sociální podmínky a nerovnosti plynoucí z prostředí. Dále krátce shrnuji adopci a mezinárodní adopci a představuji samotný proces adopce na dálku. Vysvětluji význam dobrovolnické a humanitární činnosti v problematice a představuji vybrané organizace a země. Náplní empirické části je analýza a interpretace dat, které jsem získala v rámci kvalitativního šetření. Cílem výzkumu bylo porozumění vztahu mezi sponzorem a adoptovaným dítětem, a jaká specifika z pohledu sponzora do jejich vztahu vstupují.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the Child Sponsorship. This work is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. Project Child Sponsorship allows people to sponsor children in developing countries. In the theoretical part I initially introduce problems of developing countries, with a focus primarily on environmental and social conditions and inequalities arising from the environment of developing countries. Furthermore I briefly summarize the adoption process with the international conditions. Finally I talk about the Child Sponsorship, which includes the importance of volunteer and humanitarian activities and the list of selected organizations and countries. The focus of the empirical part is the analysis and interpretation of data gathered in a qualitative investigation. The aim of the research was to understand the relationship between the sponsor and the adopted child and the specifics in terms of their relationship to the sponsor enters.
