Obesity - disease and lifestyle.

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je ?Obezita ? nemoc a životní styl?. Práce je rozdělena na 2 části ? teoretickou část a výzkumnou část. Teoretickou část tvoří 8 kapitol, ta podává ucelený pohled na danou problematiku, která zahrnuje historii, definici, výskyt, etiopatogenezi, následky a komplikace obezity a v neposlední řadě také diagnostiku a léčbu. Část mé práce pojednává o důležitosti prevence, a to především u rizikových skupin obyvatel, kteří jsou k tomuto onemocnění nejnáchylnější. Výzkumná část je zaměřená na zmapování situace v oblasti vybraných faktorů životního stylu, a to především faktorů výživy a stravovacích návyků, pohybové aktivity a volnočasových aktivit. Cílem výzkumné části je porovnání rozdílů mezi obézními, žijícími v Pardubickém a Plzeňském kraji. Výzkum byl realizován pomocí kvantitativní metody pomocí dotazníku. Výsledky výzkumu podávají kompletní obraz o životním stylu obézních klientů, žijících ve vybraných krajích České republiky.

Abstract:

The theme of the thesis is "Obesity - a disease and lifestyle. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical part and research part. The theoretical part consists of 8 chapters and provides a comprehensive view on the issue, including history, definition, occurrence, etiopathogenesis, consequences and complications of obesity as well as diagnosis and treatment. Part of my thesis discusses the importance of prevention, especially in high risk population groups who are most susceptible to this disease. The research part is focused at mapping the situation in the area of selected lifestyle factors, especially nutrition and eating habits, physical and leisure activities. The aim of the research is to compare the differences between the obese people living in the Pardubice and Plzeň Region. The research was realized by using a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the research should give a complex picture of the lifestyle of obese clients living in selected regions of the Czech Republic.
