Abstract:

Diplomová práce “Metody Competitive Intelligence, jejich aplikace v prostředí firmy Mad Company s.r.o. a uplatnění při otevírání nových zahraničních trhů“ pojednává o principech konkurenčního zpravodajství a o možnostech jeho využití v praxi. Práce staví na teoretických konceptech, jejichž praktická aplikace je prezentována na rozboru tržního prostředí společnosti Mad Company, s.r.o. V úvodu práce jsou stručně představeny definice termínu Competitive Inteligence, vymezení oblasti zájmu této disciplíny a možné způsoby jejího využití. Prezentovány jsou rovněž relevantní informační zdroje, jejichž využití se v českém kontextu jeví jako nejpřínosnější. Analytická část práce se věnuje aplikaci metod Competitive Inteligence do praxe. S ohledem na informační potřeby sledované společnosti jsou formulovány požadavky na výstupy informační analýzy. Následně je zkoumáno konkurenční prostředí firmy na domácím a jednom zahraničním (francouzském) trhu. Práce je zakončena shrnutím získaných výsledku, na jejichž základě jsou formulována doporučení pro budoucí obchodní strategii firmy.

Abstract:

Thesis “Competitive Intelligence methods, their application in the environment of the Mad Company s.r.o. enterprise and their utilization for expanding into the foreign markets” discusses the principles of the competitive intelligence and the possibilities of its practical use. The study deals with the theoretical concepts, which practical application is shown on the analysis of the market environment of the Mad Company s.r.o. enterprise. In the beginning of the thesis, the definitions of the term “Competitive Intelligence” are shortly presented, it is specified the area of interest and the possible ways of utilization of the method. The information sources, which appear to be of the most benefit in the Czech background, are described. The analytical part of the study examines the application of the Competitive Intelligence methods into the practice. With respect to the requirements of the studied enterprise, the informational analysis output is formulated. Next, the market environment of the company on the domestic and the foreign (French) market is investigated. The last part of the thesis summarizes the achieved results and suggests the coming business strategy of the company.
