Abstract:

Projektový management je dynamicky se rozvíjející disciplína, pomocí které mohou organizace úspěšně realizovat své investice. Mnoho organizací v rámci implementace této disciplíny vytvořilo pro realizaci svých projektů vlastní metodologie. Samotná metodologie však nezajistí úspěšné splnění cílů projektu či jeho snadný a bezproblémový průběh. K dosažení nastavených cílů je nutné, aby byl projekt efektivně řízen a kontrolován. Za monitorování a úspěch projektu je odpovědný projektový manažer. Základním kamenem projektového managementu je zajistit, aby daný projekt byl realizován v naplánovaném čase, definované kvalitě a ve stanovených nákladech. Tyto atributy, které jsou z pohledu úspěšnosti projektu měřené, jsou vzájemně provázané a změna v jednom z atributů může způsobit změnu v atributu druhém.Cílem této práce je definovat projekt a projektový management a popsat činnosti z pohledu řízení a controllingu projektu. Některé z technik a nástrojů, které budou popsány v teoretické části diplomové práce, budou aplikovány v části praktické.

Abstract:

Project management as dynamic management discipline can widely help the organization successfully manage their investments. Many organizations have implemented methodology for the project realization. However the methodology is only a tool which can easier to deliver the project and is not assurance for the company that the project meets its expectations. In order to assure that the project is smoothly delivered, the company needs to assure that the project is effectively managed and controlled. The Project Manager is responsible for the project monitoring through its lifecycle and also for the overall success of the project. The headstone of project management is to assure that the project is realized on time, in full and on budget. These attributes are from the project management view interconnected and change in one of these attributes can influence the other atributes. The goal of my diploma thesis is to define project, project management and describe activities of managing and controlling project. Some of the described techniques and tools will be applied in the practical part of the diploma thesis.
