Mechanical design of planetary gearbox for Formula Student racecar

Abstract:

Diplomová práce obsahuje krátkou analýzu konkurenčních řešení planetových redukcí. Hlavní část práce je návrh planetové redukce pro první generaci vozu Formula Student s elektrickým pohonem na Západočeské Univerzitě v Plzni. Konstrukce musí splňovat platná pravidla soutěže a návrh je zaměřen na nalezení optimálního převodového poměru. V závěru je pevnostně vyhodnoceno zvolené řešení pomocí MKP. Výsledkem práce je konstrukční řešení planetové redukce umístěné v kolové skupině vozu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis contains a brief overview of planetary gearboxes designed by competitors. The main focus of the work is the design of a planetary gearbox for the first generation of the Formula Student car with electric drive, which is being developed at the University of West Bohemia. The design must be subject to the rules of the Formula Student competition. The work is focused on finding the optimal gear ratio and at the very end of the work are selected parts sructurally analyzed using FEM.
