Searching for potential lectins in legumes
Abstract:
Lektiny jsou proteiny neimunitního původu schopné rozpoznávat a reverzibilně vázat různé sacharidové struktury. Tato práce se zabývá vyhledáváním lektinů z luštěnin, pomocí laboratorních metod z rostliny Adenanthera pavonina a pomocí bioinformatických metod z jetelu lučního (Trifolium pratense). Abstract:
Lectins are multivalent proteins of non-immunne origin which recognize and bind reversibly diverse sugar structures. This thesis deals with identification of lectins in legumes, in Adenathera pavonina by laboratory methods and in red clover (Trifolium pratense) by bioinformatic methods.
