V této diplomové práci se věnuji ochraně a obnově rašelinišť, a také otázce, jak se toto téma promítá do středoškolské výuky. V teoretické části se zabývám základní charakteristikou rašelinišť. Tuto základní část jsem rozdělila na tři podkapitoly: jaké existují typy rašelinišť, rozšíření rašelinišť v Evropě a jejich ohrožení. In this diploma thesis, I focus on the protection and restoration of mires, as well as how this topic is reflected in high school education. In the theoretical part, I deal with the basic characteristics of mires.
