Tato bakalářské práce shrnuje v teoretické části základní dostupné poznatky o kojení. Popisuje historii a význam kojení pro matku i pro dítě a zahrnuje také techniku kojení. Dále se věnuje podpoře kojení ve světě a v České republice, kde se podpora kojení rozvíjela v 90. letech 20. století. Zabývá se také náhradami mateřského mléka, především jejich přehledem. In its theoretical part, this bachelor thesis summarizes the basic available findings about breastfeeding. The paper includes a description of history and benefits of breastfeeding for a mother and for a child and also of breastfeeding techniques.
