Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme sturmovským slovům. Prozkoumáme různé možnosti popisu sturmovských slov a jejich vlastnosti. Hlavními nástroji pro nás budou faktorová složitost a vyváženost slov. Využijeme také souvislost s mechanickými slovy. Nakonec se zabýváme sturmovskými a charakteristickými morfismy a otázkou, která sturmovská slova jsou generovaná nějakým morfismem.
Abstract:
In this thesis we study Sturmian words. We explore various possibilities for describing Sturmian words and their properties. The main tools will be factor complexity and balance. The connection with mechanical words will also be used. Lastly, we investigate Sturmian and characteristic morphisms and address the question of which Sturmian words are generated by a morphism.
