The Effect of Silica Nanoparticles on the Wettability of Films and Nanofibres from Poly(ethylene oxide)
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce popisuje ovlivnění smáčivosti filmů a nanovlákenných vrstev vyrobených z poly(etylen oxidu). Sledujeme změnu kontaktního úhlu smáčení v závislosti na použitém rozpouštědle a druhu siliky. Cílem práce bylo najít nejvhodnější kombinace rozpouštědla a siliky pro dosažení co nejvyššího úhlu smáčení.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis describes influence of wettability of films and nanofibrous layers made of poly(ethylene oxide). The change of contact angle is monitored depending on the used solvent and type of fumed silica. The aim of the thesis was find the most suitable combination of solvents and fumed silica to achieve the highest wetting angle.
