Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá stavbami funkcionalistických škol na území Moravy. Architektura staveb sloužících vzdělávání představovala v meziválečné době velké téma nejen pro architekty, ale také pro učitele, lékaře či hygieniky. Školní stavby patřily k častým tématům článků v architektonických časopisech publikovaných během 20. a zejména ve 30. letech 20.století. Architekti se snažili navrhovat takové stavby, které by odpovídali nárokům na zvolenou metodu výuky. Školy se staly výsledkem spolupráce různých vědních oborů. Jejich společným cílem bylo vytvořit dětem příjemné a hygienické prostředí, pro výuku. K požadavkům na takové školy patřilo dostatečné proslunění a větrání školních interiérů, pobyt žáků na čerstvém vzduchu, rozlehlé zahrady na pozemcích mimo centra měst. Školní prostředí bylo vnímáno jako místo které ovlivňuje vývoj dětské osobnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the buildings of functionalist schools in Moravia. The architecture of buildings used for education was an essential topic for architects and teachers, doctors and hygienists in the interwar period. School buildings were frequent subjects of articles in architectural magazines published during the 1920s and especially in the 1930s. Architects sought to design buildings that would meet the demands of their chosen method of teaching. Schools became the result of collaboration between different disciplines. Their common goal was to create a pleasant and hygienic learning environment for children. The requirements for such schools included sufficient sunlight and ventilation in the school interiors, pupils being in the fresh air, and extensive gardens on land outside the city centres. The school environment was seen as a place that influences the development of the child's personality.
