Influence of Polymer Admixtures on Temperature Characteristics of Isotactic Polybutene -1

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivy příměsí na teplotní charakteristiky isotaktického polybutenu - 1 a jejich vliv na fázovou transformaci nestabilní fáze II na stabilní fázi I. Obecně je požadováno tuto transformaci co nejvíce urychlit. V teoretické části práce bylo popsáno základní rozdělení polymerů, jejich struktur a morfologie pro amorfní a krystalické polymery. Dále je diskutován isotaktický polybuten - 1 a jeho fázové přeměny. Nakonec jsou popsány použité strukturní analýzy, mezi které patřily RTG , DSC analýza a mikroskopie. Praktická část obsahuje popis použitých příměsí a jejich směsí s isotaktickým polybutenem - 1. Vzorky byly zkoumány v jednotlivých analýzách a zařazeny do několika skupin, podle vyhodnocených dat. V závěru bylo provedeno celkové porovnání všech dat z jednotlivých analýz mezi sebou, kdy se výsledné předpoklady potvrzovaly nebo vzájemně vyvracely.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the effects of additives on the thermal characteristics of isotactic polybutene - 1 and their influence on the phase transformation of the unstable phase II to the stable phase I. In general, it is desired to accelerate this transformation as much as possible. In theoretical part of the thesis there were described basic polymer classification, their structures and morphology for amorphous and crystalline polymers. Furthermore it is discussed isotactic polybutene-1 and its phase transformations. The principles of used structural analysis which include X-ray, DSC analysis and microscopy are described in the last chapter of this theoretical part. The practical part contains a description of the used additives and their blends with isotactic polybutene - 1. Samples were examined in individual analyses and classified into several groups according to the data evaluated. In the last part of the practical part, an overall comparison of all data from the individual analyses was performed, where the resulting assumptions mutually supported or refuted each other.
