This bachelor thesis provides an analysis of animal characters in both books and it also examines the methods through which the writers depict the connection between the animal characters and their historical counterparts in totalitarian regimes. Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje zvířecí postavy v obou dílech a zkoumá způsoby, jimiž oba autoři znázornili spojení mezi svými zvířecími postavami a reálnými histickými osobnostmi v totalitních režimech. Zároveň také objasňuje a srovnává stereotypy, které autoři využili při ztvárňování svých postav.
